PTLS HOPE Research Foundation: A new nonprofit focused on advancing research and raising awareness for Potocki Lupski syndrome
16 May 2024, Austin, Texas, USA We are excited to announce the launch of PTLS HOPE Research Foundation, a registered nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing research and raising awareness for Potocki Lupski Syndrome (PTLS). Officially registered on May 16, 2024.
PTLS Hope is committed to accelerating research efforts and increasing awareness about PTLS, a rare genetic disorder affecting individuals worldwide. Through funding innovative research projects and advocating for greater awareness, PTLS Hope aims to drive progress in understanding PTLS, and ultimately finding theraputic treatment solutions for the disorder.
“Our mission at PTLS HOPE Research Foundation is to catalyze scientific breakthroughs and amplify awareness about PTLS,” says Mandy Sunner, co-founder and mom to Wren, 2.
Co-founder Lucia, mom to Jimena, 2, says, “Together, we can go so much further than ever before and we can make a meaningful difference in the lives of those affected by this rare condition.”
